Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Configuration Analyst - Level 2 or 3 to join our team at our facility in Aurora, Colorado.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data management activities.
- Implement high-level prioritization of requests and communicate schedules to stakeholders, including customers.
- Create and maintain program data library asset databases.
- Ensure timely and accurate release of deliverables and program documents.
- Coordinate with document authors and project managers to ensure deadlines and special handling requirements are met for on-time, quality delivery.
- Support program Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) requirements.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and administering program data management systems, databases, and configuration management tools to support program CM and DM requirements.
- Assist in preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
- Support generation and submission of periodic reports to the customer, working with program logistics and SEIT CM/DM.
- Track licensing and support agreements.
- Initiate procurement of follow-on licensing/support as previous agreements expire.
- Serve as IPT focal point for procurement, working with program logistics and GSC.
- Manage internal IPT inventories and update quarterly when inventory is completed.
- Update system and site VDDs as baselines change (at least quarterly), in collaboration with program logistics, OU property, and SEIT CM/DM for release.
This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled as either a level 2 or level 3.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required at time of application and willing to sit for Full Scope Polygraph if required by program
- In depth experience with MS Office suite (especially Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of data management
- Strong organization skills
- Knowledge and experience in program contract review to determine documentation requirements for each work product and project phase
- Knowledge and experience in managing documentation libraries
- Ability to interface well with program management/customers

- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
