Our Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) Procurement Team within Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) at Raytheon has an excellent opportunity for a Commodity Performance Lead (CPL) to join our team. In this specific role you will partner with a key supplier to manage, prioritize, execute, and resolve issues that prevent the supplier from manufacturing, reworking and delivering product per established schedules. This position requires diverse operations, program management, supply chain, and technical background along with the ability to lead across functional and organizational boundaries.

The ideal candidate will draw from extensive operations, program management, and supply chain management skills to lead a cross functional team that manages and oversees the delivery and quality performance of specific suppliers to improve supplier delivery performance and ensure suppliers meet the business objectives they are contracted to achieve and deliver maximum value to Raytheon. The candidate will communicate with all levels of the organizations; have business acumen to immediately connect contractual, operational, sourcing, and technical concerns that may impact a supplier’s ability to perform; and is able to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively. 

What You Will Do:

Develop, implement, and maintain a clear execution and delivery schedule for the supplier's products, in partnership with the supplierCommunicate status (challenges, actions, owners, needs) at various levels within both Raytheon and the supplierDrive closure of actions that are owned by Raytheon by building relationshipsDrive closure of actions at the supplier by gaining trust and clearly communicating Raytheon prioritiesBuild relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve supplier performance and to ensure alignment with our current execution and future business priorities and strategies.Discuss material, technical, and resource challenges from a position of manufacturing experience

Attend internal and external meetings using Zoom with ability to be on camera

Travel expected at least 25-50% of the time.  Currently all suppliers are Domestic for this position

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Defense Industry Experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.

Leadership experience: Program Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Performance Management, and/or Procurement experience.

Knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within the Supply Chain work area. 

Experience in working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Program Management, Engineering, etc).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
