A Day in the Life
Join Medtronic as a Commercial Enablement Lead and play a key role in expanding the reach of Hugo RAS across the region. In this role, you will help commercialize Hugo RAS, Medtronic's robotic-assisted surgery platform, by ensuring the right commercial, operational, and project structures are in place to support growth in new countries. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced program or project leader who enjoys working across functions, influencing change, and contributing to the future of healthcare technology.Reporting to the Senior SME Director ORICU, this position operates in a dynamic international environment and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and project managers. The role includes supporting commercial and OTC readiness activities, preparing plans and status updates, managing risks and documentation, and helping teams deliver critical milestones. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Drive activities related to Commercial and OTC readiness and program management across the EMEA region
Support or lead global programs as a satellite function of the Global PMO (Project Management Office)
Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to identify, resolve, or escalate project issues and remove obstacles
Create and maintain commercialization process flows, risk registers, project plans, schedules, and dashboards
Support proactive planning, budgeting, resource coordination, and execution tracking for key initiatives
Assign tasks to internal teams, coordinate meetings, and monitor action items, milestones, and status updates
Communicate effectively across the organization and champion the Medtronic Mission and culture to build engagement and ownership.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
10+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or a related field
3-5 years of experience directly managing teams or significant experience leading indirect teams
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
Knowledge of process flow mapping, value stream mapping, project planning and scheduling, and business or sales operations
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders on issues affecting business, service, and product strategies
Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and project tool skills, including Microsoft Project
Experience in supply chain, marketing operations, or sales operations would be beneficial. The ideal candidate is an authentic communicator and collaborator who brings a creative mindset, responds well to feedback, and adapts quickly to change.
