$17.50 - $22.79The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
LLE seeks a self-motivated student to complete a comprehensive learning experience while receiving continued career development and enrichment in association with an academic program.This opportunity involves Linux systems administration and is ideal for students with a strong interest in cybersecurity.
In this position, the successful student will add features to our smartcard configuration application using Python and build dashboards and alerts within the Elastic Stack.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Data extraction, transformation, and loading concepts and practices
- Using Linux from the command line without GUIs
- Basic TCP/IP networking concepts
- Writing scripts in bash or Python
- Reading and debugging Python
- Presenting issues to peers and managers
- Using git, gitlab, and other development and collaborative tools
- Working with a team
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Enrollment in an academic program that allows academic credit for working required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
