What you'll be doing

As a Client Service Associate, you will support Family Office relationship management efforts by delivering exceptional service for clients. You’ll process transactions for clients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution. This role involves managing daily team communications, processing operational requests such as wires, and ensuring documentation and transactions align with regulatory and internal standards. You’ll also support Family Office Administrators and Family Office Executives by preparing materials, tracking client activity, managing client data, and contributing to a consistent and high-quality client experience.

How you’ll succeed

  • Deliver high-touch service: Provide exceptional day-to-day client service support to Family Office Executives and Administrators. Generate flawless transactional documentation on client requests and inquiries such as money movement and security transfers.

  • Communicate effectively: Collaborate with respective client facing teams and internal lines of business to deliver and execute client transactions. Build and maintain relationships with outside client service partners.

  • Ensure operational excellence: Perform daily reconciliation for processed transactions. Master client data systems, maintain data and run reports. Prepare, organize incoming and outgoing mail. Scanning/photocopying/filing/archiving data. Prepare correspondence and maintain files. Receive and answer phone calls, provide information, and refer callers to appropriate individuals using judgment of sensitivity and confidentiality. Support the collection and processing of client tax information. Special projects and other duties as assigned and/or requested.

  • Support your team: Work collaboratively with members across the organization which include CIBC Family Office administrative, executive, operations teams, & internal and external clients and service providers.

  • Problem-solve and follow through: Proactively anticipate and address client needs. Promptly research and resolve client inquiries in a timely, thoughtful, and professional manner. Pursue continuous improvement and be a problem solver by anticipating obstacles, developing plans to overcome and looking for ways to improve.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and /or 1-3 years of relevant financial industry experience. Experience in a client service role within Wealth Management is a plus.

  • Strong communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.

  • Technically proficient: You’re skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and are comfortable working with internal platforms and systems.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $52,000 - $60,000 for the St. Louis, MO market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
