What you'll be doing

 

As a Client Service Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our Senior Relationship Management team by providing day-to-day administrative assistance for a range of high-net-worth client accounts, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, investment management accounts, IRAs, and foundations. You'll act as a trusted partner to Client Service Managers, serving as their primary point of contact for client servicing needs. Your responsibilities will include preparing materials for client meetings, arranging new account packets, opening new accounts, and maintaining accurate records. You'll research client inquiries and ensure timely resolution, run client statements, tax reports, and ad hoc reports, provide documentation for clients’ annual reviews, and complete special projects as needed.

Who you are

  • You have a relevant education. You hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university. An internship or 1+ years of experience in Wealth Management is a plus.

  • You’re highly organized and analytical. Your strong organizational and analytical skills help you manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems.

  • You communicate effectively. You have a pleasant telephone manner and strong business writing skills, making client interactions seamless.

  • You put clients first. You engage with purpose to find the right solutions and consistently go the extra mile because it’s the right thing to do.

  • You pay attention to detail. You notice things others might miss, and your critical thinking skills inform your decision-making.

  • You value relationships. You find meaning in building connections and surround yourself with a diverse network of partners, engaging with respect and authenticity.

  • You’re tech-savvy. You’re proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package.  This role has an expected salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.  The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
