C-UxS Field Service Representative (Test Specialist)

We are hiring a C-UxS Field Service Representative support key programs at NSWC Crane. 

The Field Service Representative (FSR) with Counter-Unmanned  Systems (C-UxS) experience will support portfolio system integration and assessment initiatives. The successful candidate will drive project execution in collaboration with NSWC Crane, Amentum, vendors, and other subject matter experts and supporting organizations. 

The position is located and performed at Crane, IN in support of NSWC Crane, IN. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Serve as Amentum representative for customer-focused C-UxS project activities, directly reporting to project leadership to support below activities as assigned.
• Provide C-UxS expertise to help guide all project execution issues
• Support and conduct technology surveys to review specifications of CUxS systems against customer requirements
• Support NSWC Crane efforts for capability gap and requirement refinement activities
• Support, establish, and/or lead system integration and test efforts to determine select CUxS system, or system of systems, effectiveness and suitability for Navy missions
• Develop and review technical documents associated with above efforts, such as system design documents, test plans, and assessment reports
• Review performer/vendor’s technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Advise program management team on matters affecting project success, schedule, and cost impacts, and develop project recovery plans as required
• Represent the organization in meetings and conferences as required
• Support and/or lead integrated product teams (IPTs) in executing tasks
• May supervise other staff members
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Experience working independently, or as a team member, to solve project/engineering/scientific problems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency with developing schedules, work break down structures, word-processing, spreadsheets and integrated software applications
• Up to 20% Travel may be required
• Must have an active Secret US Government clearance.  Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Top-Secret clearance
• 3+ years experience with Counter-UxS systems
• Knowledge of UxS threats and C-UxS technologies and operations, analysis, and/or assessments for US government agencies in the past 3+ years.
• Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
