The Raytheon Performance Excellence organization is seeking a Business Readiness Director - Process and Systems Transformation (PST) - Program Management to shape the future of Raytheon by ensuring readiness across the business while developing the international deployment strategy and plan. The dynamic individual will report to the PST Vice President for Raytheon.

The RTX Process and Systems Transformation (PST) initiative aims to harmonize essential business processes, tools, metrics, and reporting across Corporate, Enterprise Services, and each of the business units (Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney) by integrating them into a unified RTX enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems using SAP S/4HANA.

Remote Work Location - this position is currently designated as remote (preferably near a major Raytheon location in the USA northeast region). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

  • NOTE: The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories)

What You Will Do

  • Program/Project Leadership

    • Ensure completion of PST‑owned business readiness projects and oversee progress of function‑led readiness activities.

    • Lead the international deployment strategy, plan, and related activities ensuring objectives, costs, and schedules are met.

    • Bridge teams across various functions.

  • Performance Enhancements

    • Drive improvements to processes, systems, tools, and data.

  • Strategic Decision-Making, Alignment & Collaboration

    • Partner with functional teams to ensure all business readiness actions are completed.

    • Define and drive the international deployment strategy across eight countries implementing all or portions of S4 processes and tools.

    • Engage landed companies to build long‑term international roadmaps.

  • Executive Engagement

    • Provide clear, timely updates to all levels of leadership.

    • Serve as an interface with international senior leaders and functional executives.

  • People Leadership

    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help team members grow and succeed.

  • Travel

    • Estimated at < 25%, to participate in business engagements (95% domestic and 5% international).

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 12 years relevant experience

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and various levels of stakeholders

  • Program management experience at all levels (cradle to grave) for both domestic and international customers (including execution activity)

  • Business execution experience

  • Experience presenting and reporting to all levels of executive stakeholders

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience leading business process transformation and change management

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including implementation and integration at a corporate or enterprise level

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA

  • Leadership experience in large transformation or change management efforts

  • An established Raytheon international network

  • High-level of emotional intelligence and learning agility that translates to initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, patience, and the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment

  • Program Management Certification

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
