As a Business Information Security Analyst in Global Procurement (GP) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will help to support a company-wide program that focuses on safeguarding Micron’s most sensitive Intellectual Property (IP). This is a unique role where you will interface with Procurement, Quality, and the Enterprise Infrastructure and Security (EIS) team by supporting the Business Information Security Office (BISO), a community of dedicated security professionals that represent Micron’s business organizations.  A successful candidate will measure IP protection performance, drive improvement to programs and help to support project improvement activities. This position requires cross functional coordination, outstanding communication skills, creative problem solving and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude to manage a variety of responsibilities and deliverables.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Learn EIS programs and how these programs improve data security and impact worker efficiency
  • Be innovative - Improve GP programs that improve data security protection.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across the Micron network including Procurement, Manufacturing, Technology Development, Quality, Legal, Sales, Finance, People, and IT
  • Develop and implement new capabilities, agents, reports, and dashboards in support of the BISO program
  • Propose, implement, and communicate program metrics that show status and improvement
  • Work with stakeholders to define project plans including timelines and key deliverables
  • Facilitate efficient and effective program and project execution; Publish and communicate program updates
  • Create program training materials, security standards, and communication updates
  • Have tenacity – Take ownership in programs and seize opportunities for improvement
  • Be passionate about work and have a positive influence on teammates

Qualifications and Experience:

  • History of being a great teammate, respect others, and value the diversity of ideas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Online, Power BI, and Power Automate
  • Understanding of operational security concepts: data classification, threat analysis, risk vulnerabilities, and countermeasures to reduce risk
  • Creative and critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability: verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • History of understanding complex problems and deploying simplified solutions
  • Independent worker who can execute with limited direction
  • Ability to propose solutions to leaders and gain direction
  • Strong prioritization of, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience
