Overview
Plans, administers, and manages strength and conditioning programs for the University's varsity intercollegiate teams in conjunction with the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Responsibilities include designing and implementing training programs to enhance athletic performance, addressing the specific needs of assigned teams, and ensuring safe and effective workouts. The role requires collaboration with the Director of Sports Performance and other coaching staff to align programs with overall team strategies. The position also involves managing daily operations, maintaining equipment, and providing guidance on injury prevention and recovery.

Required Skills and Abilities
1. Proven organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Designs year-long, comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams to include pre season, in season, post season and off season training cycles. 2. Assists in scheduling, managing and maintenance of three varsity weight rooms. 3. Tests and evaluates student athletes to track progress of program. 4. Meets regularly with coaches and athletic trainers to keep updated on student athletes' status. 5. Supervises and trains student employees. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, or a related field and two years of experience in collegiate strength and conditioning working in a multi-sport environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required License(s) or Certification(s) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and Certified First Aid / CPR
