All-Source/China Analyst
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an All-Source/China Analyst to support a customer in Charlottesville, VA.
You will provide subject matter expertise to project and program leadership to conduct and sustain All-Source analytic production in line with customer requirements and timelines.
You will perform and manage the production of various products.
You will utilize numerous large datasets, specialized tools, and advanced assessment and analytic techniques to identify and analyze topics of interest. You will prepare and present written and oral briefings to internal customers and leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth all-source research and analysis for policy, intelligence, and DoW partners by utilizing a variety of analytical principles, concepts, and methodologies to produce all-source intelligence products (2-8 pages) by: Conducting open-source analysis, advise & assist, research on and exploitation of key data sources to assess the weapons technology developments of foreign ground forces, populate and maintain databases on equipment operation or technology application, and extrapolate foreign equipment characteristics, foreign research, and development (R&D), and production capabilities from established data.
• Developing an understanding of and produce published analytical products assessing the intentions and capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of adversary weapons development ecosystems. by researching, compiling, correlating, and interpreting relevant data sets.
Your efforts will support strategic analyses to guide national policies on science and technology competition and encourage collaboration within science and technology working groups by identifying intelligence gaps and connections within emerging and disruptive technology.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Current Top Secret/SCI
• Journeyman level:
o BA/BS in related field
o 3 years’ experience conducting all-source analysis focused on China
• Senior level:
o MA/MS in related field
o 10 years’ experience conducting all-source analysis focused on China
• Motivated self-starter with experience working as a team and as an individual contributor
• Experience conducting open-source research including specialized knowledge in the use of managed attribution systems
• Knowledge of Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, such as social media, social networking tools, data exploitation, and commercial and industry-based databases
• Knowledge of production of intelligence assessments in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) requirements
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203, 206, etc.
• Familiarization with the intelligence production cycle
Desired:
• Previous experience publishing NGIC analytical assessments
• Chinese language skills desired but not required
• CDASA certified desired but not required
• Strong understanding of analysis and data analytic tools such as Analyst Notebook, Python, R language, SQL, etc.
