Once you begin your journey, you will be going through an onboarding phase and two game levels:
Onboarding phase: Taking classroom theory into practice, you will start learning about the business, our secret language, and strategies, and getting to know our amazing people. Your own opinion will count every day!
Level 1 (6 months): Then you will be given your individual project and play on the battlefield straight away. Of course, we will help you pick-up and conquer challenges.
Should you show great results at level 1, your contract might be extended for another six months, leading you to Level 2 (Month 7-12): This will be your time to shine and showcase all you have learned so far. Expect to jump-over a raised bar.
Expected start dates are potentially in February 2027!
Job scope/summary:
The AI Transformation & Automation Intern will support the Managed Services Delivery organization in identifying, designing, and implementing opportunities to simplify operations through artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, and digital transformation.
Working with business leaders and subject matter experts across Customer Delivery Management, Transition Management, Organizational Design, and Business Management Systems / Chief of Staff functions, the intern will learn core operational processes and explore how emerging AI technologies can create efficiency, improve employee experience, and accelerate business outcomes.
The role combines business analysis, AI experimentation, low-code automation, value assessment, and change enablement. The intern will use the Microsoft ecosystem, primarily Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and related approved tools, to develop proof-of-concepts and pilots that create measurable operational value.
Job specifics/responsibilities:
Learn and understand Managed Services Delivery processes and identify opportunities for improvement through AI and automation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze operational challenges.
Design and develop AI-driven and low-code solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
Build, test, and refine prototypes, workflows, dashboards, and automation solutions.
Support solution implementation by collecting user feedback, documenting processes, and improving usability.
Communicate the potential business impact of AI and automation initiatives.
Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to business stakeholders.
Translate business needs into practical technology-driven solutions while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
Key deliverables/accountabilities:
Identify opportunities for AI and automation improvements.
Test prototypes and automation solutions.
Document findings, recommendations, and project outcomes.
Share results, lessons learned, and business benefits to stakeholders.
Provide regular progress updates and a final project presentation.
Working relationships:
Customer Delivery Management and service delivery teams.
Transition Management teams across supported regions.
Organizational Design, Workforce Management, and Business Management Systems / Chief of Staff teams.
Process owners, subject matter experts, data owners, information security, privacy, legal, and IT stakeholders as required.
Assigned mentor, program lead, hiring manager, and other interns or early-career colleagues.
Education (degree) and professional experience required:
Regular university student with major: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, digital transformation or process improvement,
No prior full-time professional experience required.
Other requirements:
Basic knowledge of AI, automation, data analytics, or software development tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Python, SQL, or Power BI).
Basic experience working on academic, personal, or extracurricular projects related to technology, AI, automation, or process improvement.
Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
Personal skills and qualities:
Strng interest in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
Ability to showcase project work, prototypes, or relevant learning experiences.
Curious, team-player and eager to learn.
Proactive and results-oriented.
Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):
Advanced user of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
Basic understanding of AI, automation, and data analytics concepts.
Interest in learning Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform tools.
Desire to develop or explain simple technical or data-driven projects.
Basic understanding of security, privacy, and compliance best practices.
