The Opportunity:

CACI seeks an AI Enterprise Architect for the United States Secret Service (USSS) contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security. This strategic, architecture-focused role offers a unique opportunity to drive national security outcomes by designing the enterprise-scale foundation for AI transformation within the USSS Office of the Chief Information Officer.

As the AI Enterprise Architect, you'll be the technical visionary establishing how AI capabilities integrate, scale, and operate across the enterprise while supporting stand-up of the USSS AI Team. You'll provide enterprise architecture leadership to the AI-PMO, develop the AI Governance Charter & Operating Framework, contribute to the AI Strategy & 3-Year Roadmap, and design comprehensive AI architectures aligning data infrastructure, platforms, security controls, and technology standards with mission objectives. You'll define target-state architectures, create integration patterns, establish governance frameworks and AI-PMO oversight mechanisms, and build technical roadmaps enabling scalable, secure, compliant AI adoption. This role requires deep AI/ML technical expertise combined with strategic architectural thinking and governance acumen to transform technical possibilities into secure, scalable mission capabilities for a program of national importance.

Responsibilities:
-Provide enterprise architecture leadership supporting stand-up of the USSS AI Team and AI Program Management Office (AI-PMO)
-Develop comprehensive AI Governance Charter & Operating Framework establishing governance structures, oversight mechanisms, approval processes, risk management frameworks, and decision-making authorities
-Contribute to AI Strategy & 3-Year Roadmap by defining target-state AI architectures, technology standards, platform strategies, and technical capability maturity progression
-Define target-state AI architectures, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps enabling scalable, secure, sustainable AI adoption aligned with OCIO objectives and CIO priorities
-Establish architectural standards and oversight mechanisms ensuring AI initiatives align with mission needs, enterprise governance, and federal compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust Architecture)
-Design AI Governance & Decision-Making Playbooks establishing enterprise standards, approval processes, intake mechanisms, prioritization frameworks, and AI-PMO oversight
-Develop AI architecture principles, design patterns, and technical standards for data management, model lifecycle management, MLOps, and AI operations
-Create governance frameworks addressing AI risk management, model validation, bias detection, explainability, and responsible AI principles
-Lead development of Technical Architecture Playbooks for AI platform selection, integration approaches, infrastructure requirements, and security controls
-Create reusable architecture artifacts (reference architectures, capability maps, data flow diagrams, security frameworks, technology recommendations, architectural decision records)
-Provide architectural guidance and oversight through architecture reviews, design sessions, governance forums, and portfolio management processes
-Facilitate cross-functional engagement with Cyber, Infrastructure, Mission Delivery, and field stakeholders to ensure architectures align with operational requirements

Qualifications:
Please note: While this role is primarily remote, there is the possibility of regular onsite presence in Washington, D.C., dependent on customer needs. We encourage applications from candidates located within driving distance of the D.C. area.
