Administrative Assistant
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our customer at NSWC Crane.
Responsibilities:
Provide programmatic and operational management support to assist the Electro-Optic Technology Division to inform and support projects across the entire division. This position will serve as a program/project specialist supporting the planning, organization, and documentation of EOIR systems.
Assist Chief Engineers, Quality personnel, and Management with the preparation of program and risk documentation for formal reviews, including meeting support, action item tracking, and quality assurance metric tracking.
Support programmatic decision-making by assisting with research, information gathering, and the preparation of analytic summaries for procurement recommendations.
Assist in the preparation and finalization of program documentation and schedules, including formatting reports and developing nomination packages for internal and external division awards.
Maintain program information files and recommend improvements to foster standardizing document formats, file naming and business operational processes to include but not limited to formal technical letters, reports, presentations, official correspondence, and forms.
Assist and inform with writing procedures, work instructions and design practices criteria to standardize Electro-Optic Technology work products across the division, such as but not limited to EOIR highlights, employee spotlights for their technical efforts as Employee of the Month nominations, employee Entrance and Exit processes.
Provide programmatic support for quality assurance efforts, including assisting with the documentation of problem-solving initiatives and process updates across the division.
Review and assimilate quality assurance and program data in support of the division’s Management/Quality System Plan.
Provide general programmatic, operational, and quality assurance support to the EOIR division as required.

Schedule flexibility allowed within government staffed lab hours
Excellent writing and communication skills pertaining to business planning and project development will also be required.
An understanding of Electro Optic (EO) business operating procedures and requirements, and knowledge of the government communities that work in and with EO
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering Discipline
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Good verbal (English) communication skills
Must be a US Citizen to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
Desired:
Active Secret security clearance

Pay Range:
This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.
Minimum Required Hourly Wage:
$27.35
