The Integrated Supply Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team.

What You Will Do:

  • Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
  • Review Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) documents and work with other functional organizations to develop and revise the documents, when needed
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs (requests for quote/requests for proposal)
  • Review quotes/proposals and analyze results
  • Plan negotiation strategies and lead the negotiations
  • Address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements by collaborating with cross-functional program contacts
  • Gather and file required documentation for purchase orders per internal procedures
  • Perform routine post-award management activities
  • Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Able to support travel (up to 25%-50%)


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 year’s experience 
  • Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role. 
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 


Qualifications We Prefer:

  • SAP/PRISM based environment experience 
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service – including Statement of Work (SOW) review 
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) 
  • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
