This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Vehicle Engineering directorate.
In this role, you will act in a critical Engineering support role as an Assured File Transfer (AFT) Agent for the Vehicle Engineering Team.
Essential Functions:
Evaluating and verifying classification level of data such as program technical requirements, designs, analyses, program information and presentations, etc. to ensure the proper secure transfer of such data from a higher to lower-classification network and/or vice-versa. This will be the primary role.
The role requires a full overall understanding of the Program and the Program's Security Classification Guide (SCG) which directs the Program's data classification and informs appropriate data handling procedures.
The selected candidate may be required to attend or present at internal program, and customer exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide file transfer and status updates.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer Aeronautical (T01)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026.
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM degree.
Must have an active U.S. Government Secret (or higher) clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
An active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Experienced in Aircraft subsystems design.
Experience with integration of aircraft subsystems and mission equipment.
Software tools experience with NX and/or CPLM, Cameo, and MS Office suite of tools or similar tools.
Pay Range:
Associate Aeronautical Engineer (T01): $63,900 - $95,900
