Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Facilities Representative to join a dynamic, diverse team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our Annapolis, MD facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and alarm systems.
  • Leverage SAP/ERP1 for financial management, including processing purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking.
  • Manage building‑automation systems using Tridium and WebCTRL, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC and energy‑management controls.
  • Utilize Archibus, a space‑planning tool, for space management and asset tracking; employ Revit and AutoCAD Mechanical (or equivalent design software) for documentation of facility modifications
  • Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive‑maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7 and coordinate rapid resolution.
  • Lead small‑to‑medium facility modification projects from scope definition through close‑out.
  • Develop project specifications, schedule contractor support, and track milestones.
  • Review contractor work to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and corporate standards.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to senior management on facility‑related matters.
  • Interpret complex building codes, regulations, and internal procedures; provide clear guidance to internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors; act as the liaison for all maintenance and construction activities.
  • Create cost estimates, budget forecasts, and status reports for ongoing projects and maintenance programs.
  • Develop and implement preventive‑maintenance schedules, documenting performance and adjusting as needed.
  • Prepare and present technical progress reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications for the Sr Principal Facilities Representative:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience with self-directed tasks, prioritize work, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • 12 years of experience of industrial/commercial facilities operations and maintenance experience.
  • Experience with software packages like: Archibus, Revit, AutoCAD Mechanical (or comparable design tools), SAP ERP1, Maintenance Connection/Maximo, Tridium and WebCTRL
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret level Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship

 

Preferred Qualifications for the Sr Principal Facilities Representative:

  • Master Electrician or HVAC certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15 years’ experience in facilities operations and maintenance and/or construction trade experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
