Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $20.00 - $30.00/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

This position is responsible for generating accurate and timely estimates for reconditioning services within body, detail and/or auto offered to all internal and external auction clients.  These estimates are to be generated using formats and pricing defined by management. This position also provides client service, clerical assistance, compiles and maintains records of business transactions.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Provides accurate estimates for recon such as body, detail and/or mechanic (including PSI) services.  Estimates will include but not limited to commercial, dealer, rental and retail clients as well as any lot or internal damage.

  • Communicates estimates in required formats (i.e. electronic, email, written). Required to meet all internal and external client expectations.

  • Work with Procurement/Purchasing team to assure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required for estimates.

  • Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and client communications related to approved reconditioning estimates, as directed by management.

  • Provides quality client service through face to face and phone supports. Answers questions and provide support as needed.

  • Performs basic data entry into the AS 400 system, download digital images of vehicles in the system.

  • Copies data and compiles records and reports. Files documentation.

  • Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the Box values and behaviors. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.

  • 1 – 3 years of collision and/or mechanical estimating experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to details.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • ·Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. (i.e. tools, equipment).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of AS400 systems helpful.

  • Ability to answer phones, convey messages and interact with clients.

  • May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs require.
