As the Parts Journeyperson, you will provide exceptional customer service and advice; identify and source parts, as well as inspecting and processing cores and parts returns.What’s in it for you?

Job Description:
- Dedicated parts person located on Customer Site in Acheson
- Process customer orders; source and ordering parts
- Inspecting and processing customers parts returns and processing cores
- Back order management and daily updates to the customers
- Exceptional customer service and collaboration with all facets of client’s organization
- Support parts orders from the local shop as well as from customer operations in other facilities
- Support the customer with standard Bills Of Materials for work in the shop
- First point of contact for the customer to inquire on piece parts orders
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships; ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
- Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation
- Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products.
Important Details:
- This position is based in Acheson, AB on a 5x2 shift. (Monday-Friday)
- Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
