Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Product Support 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Product Support organization. This leadership position will be located onsite in Palmdale, CA.
This role will support the Product Support EI&E (Engineering Integration and Execution) and lead the Support Hardware team and SOW (Statement of Work) execution. The Support Hardware Manager will supervise a team of 10+ individuals at multiple locations who are responsible for material procurement, asset management, item management, and Inter-Program Asset Loans / Borrow Paybacks /RFNIUs across multiple contracts. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and accountability of contractor acquired property and its delivery to the customer as DD250'd assets, procurement of spares requirements and repairs (implementation into the repair cycle, refurbishment and replenishment); ensuring projects, Statement of Work tasks and contract deliverables are submitted on schedule and within budget.
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
Support the Product Support EI&E Director and OU Program Manager objectives
Provide leadership, training and guidance to team members, ensuring the team has sufficient and well-balanced statement of work.
Be responsible for the management and accountability of government property, line-replaceable units and peculiar support equipment IAW government property regulations and SOPs.
Act as the first point of contact for warehouse support issues on the program and makes decisions regarding the resources required for resolution, or if escalation within the business unit or sector is required.
Works with other functional areas to ensure program goals are executed in support of cost, schedule and quality.
Be responsible for the EVMS, cost, scheduling, proposal development and technical performance of a specific work package on a large contract.
Assist program management in the planning and execution of property management life cycle by tracking, documenting and reporting the location of multiple program critical assets and continually monitoring and balancing asset requirements.
Engage in high level of interaction with both internal and external customers, providing senior leadership with monthly status reports and briefing during Program reviews and Summits, as required.
Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure processes pertaining to Critical Assets, Program Repairs, Inter-Program Asset Loan (IPAL) and Rent Free Non-Interference Use (RFNIU) are complete, compliant to FAR and DFARS, and up to date.
Manage employee performance (including engagement strategies for higher performers and corrective actions for lower performers).

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years’ experience in support hardware, supply support, and/or procurement logistics OR a Master’s degree AND 7 years’ experience in support hardware, supply support, and/or procurement logistics.
Experience leading a team.
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government [select Secret or Top Secret] clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Subject Matter Expert or significant knowledge with the following tools: Enterprise Resource Planning (i.e. SAP), Asset Management software (Passport / Barcloud), and the Program Asset Tracker (PAT) Tool
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters of Science degree.
Current Top Secret clearance.
Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Experience leading a large department in a matrix environment.
Experience with EVMS.

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
