Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 3 to lead a team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future of our Global Supply Chain (GSC) pillar system execution. This is a unique opportunity to drive an intersection between our core ERP and PLM system needs as well as managing convergence and deployment of those same systems. In addition to sector pillar system responsibilities, there will also be partnership on enterprise level initiatives and platforms.

The selected candidate will directly engage with system users, sector leadership, and GSC executives. Your focus will be on ensuring training, support and development of these systems and the translation of business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions. The role coordinates with corporate and sector teams to define system strategies and requirements including program functions, outputs, data, controls, and integrations.

This position also provides executive-level sector representation for enterprise projects such as SmartBuy, Procurement Navigator, and S/4.

This position is responsible for non-recurring procurement and GSC planning in our SAP S/4 environments, execution of ERP convergence, recurring activity for supplier quality capabilities and oversees the Level 2 ERP help desk for monitoring and resolving end‑user SAP questions.

This position can be worked out of our NG facility in Linthicum, MD; Rolling Meadows, IL; Salt Lake City, UT; San Diego or Woodland Hills, CA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the a diverse team, including staffing, performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Oversee GSC ERP support for non-recurring procurement activity and both recurring and convergence activities in ERP supplier quality scope.
  • Oversee PLM GSC requirements, development and deployment planning for the sector.  Ensure successful deployment of sites converging on a single PLM system with appropriate requirements, development, testing and user deployment to meet business needs.

  • Oversee gathering, analysis, and documentation of user requirements, procedures, and business problems to drive improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Partner with technical and functional partner leadership to meet cross-functional system requirement needs.
  • Direct and approve testing strategies, plans, and execution to ensure optimal system functionality and minimize production risk.
  • Provide executive oversight of instructional materials, training content, and delivery to ensure consistent and effective user adoption across the enterprise.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for complex software issues across our GSC pillar systems
  • Represent Global Supply Chain on cross‑functional enterprise initiatives (e.g., procurement automation, supplier connections, S/4 upgrades/migrations), influencing design decisions and ensuring GSC requirements are met.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for system performance, user experience, and team effectiveness; drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, including sector and functional leadership.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including leading teams, projects, or cross‑functional initiatives in an ERP, SAP, or Global Supply Chain systems environment.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 in Global Supply Chain and/or Operations (e.g., procurement, materials management, logistics, visibility) with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Experience in Global Supply Chain or Operations functional organization roles.
  • Willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends and shutdown) when necessary.
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Prior experience managing or leading a support organization or similar centralized systems function.
  • Experience of the Teamcenter solution and its integration with SAP or other enterprise tools.
  • Experience leading or overseeing system enhancements, testing, and deployment in a complex, multi‑site environment.
  • Experience with system integrations, including understanding of hardware/software requirements, design, development, and testing of integrated solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, APICS, CPSM, or CSCP.

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $263,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
