Lead Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and architecture of the SAP ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with USTC requirements, DoD standards, and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, including integration plans with existing systems and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee the implementation, configuration, and customization of SAP modules, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Manage the system accreditation process in compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework, ensuring all security and compliance requirements are met
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in leading technical functions for large, complex information technology systems, with a focus on SAP ERP implementations
- Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP platforms (or equivalent FMS/TMS systems)
- Proven track record as a Systems Engineer/Architect, developing or implementing SAP-based information systems across the entire project lifecycle
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas, concepts, and thoughts to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholder
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Demonstrated ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions within SAP ecosystems
Experience with or knowledge of:
1. DoD Instruction 5000.88
2. Engineering of Defense Systems
3. DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditations
4• Extensive experience in obtaining and maintaining DoD Risk
Management Framework 1046 Accreditation for SAP systems
- Integration experience with SAP and other enterprise systems of similar scope and complexity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with USTC or other DoD agencies on SAP implementations
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SAP certifications, PMP, CISSP, TOGAF)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies in large-scale SAP implementation
- Demonstrated experience integrating ERPs in a cloud environment

The proposed salary range for this position is:
