We are presently seeking an innovative and detailed-oriented individual to join our team to support the Land Vehicle Crew Training System (LVCTS) project, pending contract award. The LVCTS project will deliver advanced simulation and training solutions to the Canadian Army (CA) at five sites across Canada: Edmonton, Alberta; Shilo, Manitoba; Petawawa, Ontario; Valcartier, Quebec; and Gagetown, New Brunswick.
As the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead, you will lead a team of ILS professionals and work with multidisciplinary Integrate Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure the successful planning, execution and reporting of all work scope within the LVCTS ILS domain for the project.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of ILS professionals to ensure the successful completion of all ILS activities, including but not limited to: ILS Plan, Publications, Logistics Support Analysis, System Effectiveness, and Configuration Management.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of the LVCTS ILS and Maintenance Program.
- Support LVCTS Mandated System Reviews including: the Training Program System Requirements Review (SRR), the Training Program Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and the Training Program Critical Design Review (CDR), as well as system level SRR, PDR and CDR.
- Host the ILS-related customer working groups including: Logistical Support Analysis Working Group, Publication Development Working Group, Maintenance Management and Support Working Group where Canada's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will provide guidance and advice in support of ILS deliverables.
- Identify technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate policies, relevant safety codes, industry regulations, and all applicable legal aspects. Ensure team members comply with Raytheon Environmental, Health and Safety program and are equipped with the information, instruction, training and supervision required to perform their work safely.
- Act as a mentor and coach, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, ILS for military procurements (or equivalent in training and experience).
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in project management, engineering, or training development, preferably in the defence or aerospace sector.
- Proven experience managing teams, with strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
- Expertise in project management, particularly in cost control, scheduling, technical performance and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through complex challenges and prioritize competing demands to drive program success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Teams, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORS.
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation applications and architectures for large-scale training.
- Experience in managing ILS projects within the defence or aerospace sector is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Department of National Defence/Public Services and Procurement Canada is an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to support business needs, supplier engagement or program activities.
- Bilingual (French & English) is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
This position is eligible for consideration of a hybrid work arrangement with set onsite days.
