Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Mid-Level Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level B or C) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania.

Position Responsibilities:   

• Performs maintenance on factory equipment

• Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics

• Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment

• Responds to requests for equipment repair

• Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories

• Works under limited supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Associate’s Degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 1 or more years of equivalent technical experience

• 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Please enter your

• 4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Lock Out / Tag Out / Try Out (LOTOTO) Training

• High Voltage Safety Training

• Previous experience developing and executing preventative maintenance plans for plant machinery or electronic equipment

• Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical devices

Associate (Level B) Summary pay range: $52,700 - $71,300

Mid-Level (Level C) Summary pay range: $62,050 - $83,950
