 The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: 

RTX has an opening for a Contractor Escort (Analyst, Facilities) position located in Largo, FL RTX 7887 Bryan Dairy Road, Bldg 100.

What You Will Do

  • Provide continuous escort and oversight of contractors, vendors, and visitors operating within secure or restricted areas.
  • Verify identification, badges, and authorizations to ensure compliance with access control requirements.
  • Monitor all escorted activity to ensure adherence to facility security procedures, safety rules, and prohibited‑items policies.
  • Maintain accurate logs of escorted personnel, locations, and work durations.
  • Coordinate with Facilities, Security, and project leads to support scheduled contractor activity and ensure timely access.
  • Report any security concerns, unusual activity, or procedural violations according to established protocols.
  • Support general facility security functions as assigned.
     

What You Will Learn:

  • Secure facility access control processes and compliance requirements.
  • Procedures for monitoring contractor activity in controlled areas.
  • Collaboration with Facilities, Security, Environmental Health & Safety, and technical teams.
  • How to communicate effectively with external contractors working in a regulated environment.
  • Practical experience in maintaining situational awareness and applying security policy in real‑time scenarios.
     

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of exposure to security protocol and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Experience following established procedures and security protocols with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous presence.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and escort personnel throughout various facility areas.
  • Ability to maintain a Secret security clearance.
     

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience in security, facilities support, access control, military service, or other regulated environments.
  • Experience working in or around secure, restricted, or classified areas.
  • Familiarity with contractor monitoring, access logs, or visitor management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort operating in a procedural, compliance‑driven environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules, contractor needs, and site activity levels.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
