As a Business Management Manager – Manager Level 3 your role at Huntsville, AL will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Our Business Management Manager will support our Missile Defense System Operating Unit – Ground-Based Weapon System Program and have responsibility for the program’s performance and financial and strategic objectives.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Your Role and Impact:

  • Manage and develop a tiered business management team, driving high engagement and inclusion and building a talent pipeline
  • Lead all aspects of program financial execution objectives
  • Provide accurate and timely inputs to business systems supporting predictable financial forecasting and profitability determination
  • Lead Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR), internal and external audits and other financial assurance engagements
  • Lead Program Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)
  • Prepare and review Estimates-at-Complete (EAC)
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of industry related experience including people management experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of industry related experience including people management experience  
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top-Security security clearance
  • Experience with U.S. Government Contracts and FAR
  • Experience with Earned Value cost
  • Experience supporting large and complex proposal activities
  • Experience with financial planning, forecasting and data analysis
  • Experience with MS Office Suite

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • MBA or master’s degree in a business field
  • Experience with financial forecasting systems (S4/SAP, Hyperion, Cognos)
  • Experience with USG customer communications and negotiations as a prime
  • Experience with a financial forecasting system and earned value management system
  • Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team or management
  • Experience reviewing Earned Value performance, bottoms up EAC, risk/opportunity/pressure analysis from multiple sources such as subcontractors or intercompany partners
  • Experience with EVM reporting (IPMR, IMPDAR, CFSR, CCDR, CSDR)

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards 

Primary Level Salary Range: $152,300.00 - $228,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
