Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Manager to lead a team of Structural and Thermal analysts while remaining hands on with Structural and Thermal Analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise a team of Structural and Thermal analysts. Provide technical guidance, conduct performance reviews and foster professional development.
- Define project scopes, estimate resource requirements, manage timelines and ensure deliverables align with product development milestones.
- Manage end-to-end workflows:
- Geometry preparation, Meshing, Physics modeling, post-processing and report preparation
- Apply AI/ML techniques where applicable for:
- Surrogate modeling, Design optimization and Data-driven insights from simulation results
- Interpret simulation results and provide actionable engineering recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, testing, manufacturing)
- Ensure simulation quality through validation, verification, and benchmarking
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Structural Analysis within Aerospace and/or Automotive industries, with 2-3 years in supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of:
- Strength of Materials and Conjugate Heat Transfer
- Numerical methods and modeling techniques
- Hands-on experience in:
- Static (Linear & Non-Linear) and Thermal Analysis
- Proficiency with Structural Analysis tools:
- Altair Hypermesh, Optistruct or Nastran, ANSYS Work Bench
- Experience with AI/ML techniques (e.g., regression models, neural networks, optimization algorithms) applied to engineering problems
- Strong Problem Solving, Verbal and Written communication skills and Conflict-Resolution capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities
